Abstract: Risky sexual behavior is a wide spread sociosexual phenomenon. It is interesting to understand it despite of the rise of HIV/AIDS cases as one of its consequences. Fugure that mentioned plays important role to the risky sexual behavior is male as sexual inisiator and sexual decision maker. The aim of this research is to measure the role of sexual sensation seeking and the attitude of condom use to risky sexual behavior in heterosexual young adult single male. The participants of the research are 78 heterosexual young adult male live in Jakarta, Indonesia, using snowball sampling. The result shows that sexual sensation seeking has negative correlation to age of first sexual intercourse, and positive correlation to the participant’s age and the attitude of condom use, number of sexual intercourse in the last 3 months, condom use inconsistency, and strangers whom they had sexual intercourse. On the other hand, the attitude of condom use only has negative correlation to age of first intercourse, and positive correlation to the participant’s age and the number of sexual intercourse in the last 3 months. The other results are sexual sensation seeking differentiation based on whom they had first sexual intercourse, and whether they already had blood test or not. The biggest contribution of sexual sensation seeking is for age of first sexual intercourse, number of sexual intercourse on the last 3 months, condom use inconsistency, strangers whom they had sexual intercourse, and the attitude of condom use. On the other side, attitude of condom use has small contribution to the number of sexual intercourse on the last 3 months. These findings shows that sexual sensation seeking plays more important and significant role to risky sexual behavior than attitude of condom use. Hence, other variables must be considered as predictors of risky sexual behavior in heterosexual male.
